Our Process

MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Procured from solar salt field is subjected to wet milling, three stage washing by raw salt saturated brine, centrifuging, blending with potassium lodate and ferricyanide and then to drying. Dried salt is graded. The crystal size between – 850 to + 150 microns are blended with the suitable quantity of a free flowing agent and packed in consumer pack of net weight 1 kgs. The crystal size of-150 microns are directly packed in laminated iidpe bags in 50 kgs. Lot and sold to chemical, food and various processing industries. 85% – 90% of the products are sold in the consumer market as edible salt and the balance to industries as chemical, bulking or souring agent. The brine rejected after washing of salt is sending to settling pond where it is chemically treated for removing the excess load of calcium, magnesium & sulfates and then allowed to settle down for removing the insoluble impurities. The brine thus generated is sent back again to the plant for washing the common salt. The brine over loated with dirt and insoluble shall be disposed off in the salt creeks near to out plant site. The process as above is indigenously developed and well tried. The above is a continuous process and hence suitable holding up capacities at various stages is provided for ensuring a smooth operation.

WET MILL

Hammer mill is a economical unit designed for general allround work for time saving operation. Most often, the only changes necessary are of Screen, hammers and liners. Feed Material passes through a wide feed hopper into the grinding chamber. The swinging hammers, in the rotating hammer rotor, crush materials at the stationery liners before driving them trough a screen and type of hammers used.

Washing Tank

This is the second stage of washing. This is used to wash the salt coming from elutriation tank along with adequate quantity of brine & slurry. The washing tank will capture the total discharge of the wet mill. Tank will be fabricated from S S 304 3mm thick.

BUCKET ELEVATOR

AGITATOR

In Salt Processing Plant, Agitator is placed above washing tank to agitate the Salt Slurry in the tank. and homogeneous mixture of the Salt Slurry.

CYCLONE

Cyclone dust collectors, named after the cyclone weather phenomenon, are large funnel shaped sheet metal tubes connected to ducts often used in woodshops, machine shops, manufacturing plants, and powder processing plants. Dust and debris are sucked in at the top. Air containing fine dust blows out of the other side of the top, while chips and large dust particles fall out of the bottom into a drum or bin. Dusty exhaust air is either blown outside or filtered again using media filtration.

VIBRO SCREEN

Our experience has helped us in designing the best antiblinding systems to prevent the choking of fine screen by salt-dust. Our screen units are most efficient, hi dust. PIN MILL

Pin Mill is specially designed to deal efficiently and economically with a wide range of materials and can be easily adjusted to give the fineness required from a coarse granulation to finely ground powder. Pin Mill Grinding is gradually done from the centre to the periphery of the Rotor, allowing heavy pieces of material to be reduced by stages to the fineness required. Constructional materials and operating components are manufactured out of the 15 best applicable raw materials, so as to yield close particle size for a similar product. Pin mill yields greater output in relation to the Electrical Energy consumed, since the material can be ground is fed automatically in the centre of the Rotor by the Feed Hooper provided with an automatic vibrating tray / rotor feeder & gear box for automatic feed.

SCREW CONVEYOR

A screw conveyor or auger conveyor is a mechanism that uses a rotating helical screw blade, called a "fighting", usually within a tube, to move liquid or granular materials. They are used in many bulk handling industries. Screw conveyors in modern industry are often used horizontally or at a slight incline as an efficient way to move semi-solid materials, including food waste, wood chips, aggregates, cereal grains, animal feed, boiler ash, meat and bone meal, municipal solid waste, and many others. The first type of screw conveyor was the archimedian screw, used since ancient times to pump irrigation water. They usually consist of a trough or tube containing either a spiral blade coiled around a shaft, driven at one end and held at the other, or a "shaftless spiral", driven at one end and free at the other. The rate of volume transfer is proportional to the rotation rate of the shaft. In industrial control applications the device is often used as a variable rate feeder by varying the rotation rate of the shaft to deliver a measured rate or quantity of material into a process. Screw conveyors can be operated with the flow of material inclined upward. When space allows, this is a very economical method of elevating and conveying. As the angle of inclination increases, the allowable capacity of a given unit rapidly decreases.

VOLUMETRIC FILLER MACHINE

Dryer

Static Fluidized Bed Dryer is a very critical equipment Where there is no moving part inside the Drying Chamber. The Salt is fluidized, each particle meets the hot air, Discharges moisture, gets dry and at the same time travels Forward without any mechanical push. It is amazingly Handled by the balancing of the hot air through drying fan, Cold air through cooling fan and exhaust air through Exhaust fan. This balancing act requires very special skill in Design and Operation. We have proven-technology for Designing dryers of any capacity. Since we have basic Design knowledge of such dryers, we can offer the best Services to our clients in case of difficulties during Operation. In salt plants we suggest to go for SS 316L as MOC for such Dryers
